What is blogging anyways? That's something I have been wondering about for a while. I watch all these news channels like CNN, MSNBC and FoxNews go all crazy about covering the different political blogs. They try to make us believe that what these blogs have to say is of the utmost importance.

So I decided to do some research about blogs and have tried in the past to set up my own blog. But I realized that my first few blogs have contained the rantings and ravings of a lunatic (me) and quickly I stopped adding to those blogs. Then I realized that most blogs are the rantings and ravings of complete lunatics and that I really shouldn't take someone else's blog too seriously. I have more or less come to see blogs as a cheap and easy way for people to clear out their thoughts without having to pay hundreds of dollars to visit a shrink.
